The Lean & Limber Method provides gentle somatic movements with soft, non-aggressive assisted stretching techniques to elongate muscles, create space between the joints and unravel tight fascia. We focus on reversing uncomfortable holding patterns of pain, tension and stress stored within the body by addressing the nervous system, fascial system, muscular system and lymphatic system.
This luxurious, soft, holistic approach to assisted stretching was developed by professional dancer, Kendra Dushac McCarthy, drawing from her extensive and eclectic background in Dance Education, SRT Therapy- Soft Release Techniques, Pilates, Tahya Technique- Healing Dance Therapy, and Yoga.
All sessions include a warmup (may be passive or dynamic). Complimentary MyATAPA Red-Light Therapy, Aromatherapy and gentle percussive massage therapy are also available in sessions to assist in cellular renewal and recovery.
Most importantly the Lean & Limber method is rooted in the concept of bio-individuality, as no one body was created the same, therefore we approach each client differently while working to restore unique imbalances, promote healing and relief.
